Why do you call before activating accounts?

Have you ever heard the phrase "a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch"? Well this is why. It is our responsibility to provide the most uptime and quality services we can for our hosting customers and by taking a few extra minutes to verify the person that purchased the account is a real person on the other end of the phone this accomplishes a few things.
  1. It provides you an opportunity to ask us any additional questions you may have.
  2. It deters people who jump from one ISP to another using bandwidth to host illegal sites and share illegal software (yes, people do this believe it or not).
  3. It allows us to validate your phone number. In case we need to get ahold of you about your account, we know we have a valid phone number.
So if you are signing up for a new account, be sure you provide us with a valid phone number, otherwise your account will never be able to be activated.
